Acrylic Signs Problems?

I've seen lots of people paint the back of the signs to make them easier to see. This is what we plan to do!

You can also find colored acrylic as an option. We used black with white lettering.

I think it just depends on your aesthetic! It will look fine either way. I wanted the acrylic look and opted for this one. However, you can always paint the back like others have suggested to create a contrast

Ours has a white painted back with gold writing - I was worried about the same thing!

Hey Jennifer! What color are you planning to have the lettering in? As the pp's mentioned, there are a lot of different options that you could consider. Personally, I don't think the see-through background with the white lettering is hard to see, I think it looks very classy.
