Activities at a wedding

My fiance and I have booked a picnic shelter venue for a celebration of marriage next summer. We're trying for a midday event that's fairly relaxed and informal.

I think we want to start the day at noon with a short and sweet ceremony to welcome everyone (<15 mins), then move straight into a buffet lunch.
At that point, I'm stuck. We don't really want toasts or dancing. We will set up some yard games: Cornhole and croquet. We'll also have board games available. Then everyone should know people and will have a plus one option. But I feel like it's not enough. It's a 2 hour minimum drive for everyone and most guests are even further away out of state. My fiance and I don't want to put on too much of a performance but does anyone actually want to travel hours to eat lunch and watch a 15 minute repeat?
There's zero hard feelings if someone cannot attend; my fiance and I are being honest about the plans and understand that not everyone will be able to expend time and money for this. But for those who do decide to come, what activities should we add to the day?

You could do some fun bride and groom games (like the shoe game, idk what it's called lol), have maybe like a snow cone truck or some other kind of fun speciality confectionary stand/truck (coffee, ice cream, etc), have a photo booth, caricature drawings. I know all of these cost money, but they may be worth it to make sure your guests have a fun time if there won't be any dancing or other celebratory traditions in the reception.

I wouldn't worry too much, people don't come to a wedding expected to be entertained every second. Hanging out and socializing is usually enough Smiley smile

I think lawn games, food, and mingling is more than enough!! 🌟

If you want to you could do a welcome/thank you toast or play the shoe game (here's how) - but you don't really need that! All you need is a good group of friends & family to come together and celebrate. 🥰
