Adding hair extensions for the big day?

I did halo extensions- I had never worn any before and loved them! The hairstylist easily was able to put them in and they lasted until the wee hours of the next morning. Fairly comfortable, totally invisible and I had nice mermaid-y hair. Would recommend!

I am black so i do extensions often. Depending on the kind you get it can be hard on your hair. Look into clip in.

What area are you in? I got some Korean braid in extensions that were AMAZING and didn’t damage my hair at all. There’s only one place I know of in LA but they’re affordable and they looked great! I’m getting them again for my wedding.

I'm thinking about getting extensions too, so I'm glad to read that they're being recommended. Can they be curled. My fine hair is also stick-straight. I used to perm it but the medications I'm on now make my hair unable to hold a curl.

I did! I have fine hair and I wanted length and volume for curls. I had the tape-in kind, wore them for a total of 5 weeks, and my hair looked great on my wedding day!

I used 20 in Luxy hair extensions and LOVED them. They're expensive but I did the payment option so it was four $60 payments spread out over about 6 weeks.

I used extensions, and I was so happy I did. I felt so bridal & my hair looked awesome. I bought extensions from Milk & Blush. They added about 2 inches to my hair but a ton of volume.

I've done my hair trial and had to use extensions in order to create the full look I wanted. This was the first time I had ever used extensions so I wasn't sure what kind to get but my stylist told me to make sure and get real human hair because it holds the curl better and looks more natural. I'd recommend purchasing them from your local beauty store rather than like Sally's because it will be much cheaper. Also, make sure you get the correct length depending on what look your going for. I wore clip-in extensions for the first time ever to add volume and to help my hair hold a curl better - I have lots of hair but it is extremely fine and unmanageable. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Definitely do a hair trial and make sure you like how it feels/looks after several hours. My hairstylist recommended taking Advil first because the clip-ins can make your head sore; however, I didn't experience any soreness from them!
