Adding more lace appliqué to dress?

I know that feeling! When I first saw this dress in the hanger, I fell in love, I couldn't wait to try it on. I tried on about 10 until I finally tried this on. My mom said "that's the one!" I couldn't stop smiling. Then, three days later my uncle's wife calls me saying she wanted to please give her the "privilege" to see me try on wedding dresses, so I now regret it, but I said yes. We went back to try on dresses and she convinced me to change this dress. Two months passed, I picked up my second dress and trued it on and just cried! It just didn't feel like it was my dress. So I told the lady that was helping me and they exchanged it back to this one! Thankfully they were able to do the exchange. When I told my uncle's wife she made the ugliest face and said "well, that dress is vulgar" and "its not white, be ready to be criticized" and its "too simple, it needs more of this and that"

I honestly tried to ignore it. Now those comments hurt because I cant focus on loving the dress, I'm now concerned of others reaction and how they will criticize my dress. Oh! Forgot to mention that I dated my uncle's wife's brother so she feels like she's still my SIL and is bitter I didn't end up with him perhaps lol

@Blanca, that explains it. She is being a bitter old Bitch, so do not give her any credit at all!! The only thing vulgar here is her attitude!! Your dress is beautiful and you look amazing in it!!!!

WTF is wrong with people????? Seriously, if she says one other thing, tell her that if she makes one more mean comment she can consider herself uninvited because YOUR day is for people who love and support you, not people who feel the need to be hateful and make mean comments.
