Is anyone adding a tulle skirt to their wedding dress? I wanted to buy a ball gown type dress originally but decided to wear my DIL's dress she bought and didn't wear due to her own dress regret. She was thrilled. Problem is, she is 23 and the dress is fitted and suits her youthful style.
I'm 44 and even with two alterations appointments, it now fits me like a glove but I don't feel comfortable in it. Everyone who has seen it loves it, but I feel fat and self conscious. I bought a long sash in champagne to create a waist, which helps but I don't love the look.
Today I got the bright idea to add a ball gown type skirt to accentuate my waist even more and more importantly detract from my tummy and bottom that are already covered in spanx.
