Addressing Envelopes

Hi! How is everyone addressing their envelopes? Are you getting them printed directly on the envelope, handwriting yourself, using labels?! I'm not sure what the best way is!

I did etsy calligraphy and sent the shop envelopes directly from Amazon and she charge $.55 per envelope and the shipping back to me so for 45 envelopes, it was able $30 and totally worth it

I used clear labels with writing that matched the invitations. Full names/addresses on outside label & first names on inside

I will hand write the addresses but for the return address in the corner I will use a label of somekind or a stamp with our address on it.

My handwriting is awful so we are having ours digitally printed in a script font!

I got wrap around labels from affordable wedding invites. They looked different and neat.

I have pretty handwriting, and I'm rather vain about it. I would be sad to miss the opportunity to address mine as I love any excuse to show it off.

So anyone know how to export the guest list from wedding wire to print labels? I'm clueless with that kind of computer stuff- we did export to an xl spreadsheet but that's as far as I can figure out.

Oh also we printed directly on the envelope.

We did a mail merge and made the last names a larger font and spaced out the zip code. It was the easiest thing ever and looked pretty good! Not as nice as calligraphy but nice!

@Laura - Once you have the excel spreadsheet you can use the Label Wizard feature in Word for most Avery Labels. You might find some online tutorials to guide you. Once you figure out the steps, it imports them all for you - its easy!

I did calligraphy by hand (because I know how and it saved the extra cost of buying labels or hiring someone) but DH's best friend did labels. Both are fine! Handwriting is fine too, as long as your writing is legible.

I purchased a template from Etsy and printed away!

I was quoting calligraphers and I decided to use the $$ to explains my dessert options.

I'm sure in the end I'll be proud of this decision!
