Addressing "save the Date" question

Pat, on December 4, 2021 at 12:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

On the envelope for mailing the Save the Date cards .... do you indicate WHO will be invited? Like, how do you let the people know to "save the date" but it's just for you, not your kids. OR the other way around, 'save the date' and you'll be invited with a 'plus one' ?

You can address it to those invited. We're including special wording like "save the date for a special date night." On our website i'll have an announcement that says adults only.

We just addressed the envelope with who we were inviting. Then there was a link on the save the date for the website and on our FAQ page we kindly explained that it was an adults only event.

I would address it to those specifically invited.

Save the Dates addressed to those specifically invited. Then on your formal invitations you can further explain in case someone assumed incorrectly.
