Adhesive for Ribbon

I have ribbon that I want to use to hold my invitation suite together. I would prefer not to tie the ribbon together because I think that would make it more bulky. Is there some type of adhesive I could use that would securely hold 2 ends of ribbon together to go around my invitation suite?

Hot glue is certainly a possibility...if that is too bulky then E6000 holds anything. How thin is your ribbon? If it's gossamer then glue would go through.

What about a standard glue dot like they use in scrap booking?

I used glue dots to assemble my invites. They worked great! Easy and mess free.

If its a light ribbon glue dots would probably work, and they make removable ones now so it shouldn't rip paper if it touches it.

I used a small dot of hot glue. I pinched it between my fingers so that it didn't squash out and stick to the paper. It worked out perfectly.

Glue dots!!!! different from hot glue, less messy and perfect for holding ribbon together

Awesome I think I'm going to give the glue dots a shot first - I'm very clumsy so that leaves less possibility for me to get glue on my invites.

There is adhesive spray, you can use a little or clear dot glue.

I used glue dots! It worked great. Two dots per ribbon and those babies stuck!
