Adult prom themed wedding

I would LOVE to attend that wedding. How fun!!!!

I haven’t seen or heard of this at a wedding before. I am kind of curious though, how exactly would it be different from just a regular wedding? For a prom, people dress up, go to dinner, and attend a dance with their date. Which is essentially a wedding reception.

And I’ve been to multiple weddings that have had fireworks, and pretty much all the weddings I’ve attended have had DJs with strobe lights. Obviously you can absolutely do a prom themed wedding, but it seems like it would just kind of be a normal wedding for the most part

It's a creative idea for sure. My one concern is that it might end up feeling like a kid's birthday party. If that's the vibe you're going for, then that's great!

How would you be expecting people to dress? Like in actual prom dresses?

I think one concern I'd have would be people wearing really extravagant dresses that would overshadow your own. Or that the cost of a prom dress/ tux might be a deterrent. But for the record, it does sound like fun
