Advice for fixing tan lines?

Em, on January 24, 2020 at 1:44 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 11
Does anyone have any advice for getting rid of awkward tan lines?

Admittedly, the one I have is very faint, but it still bothers me. I wore a short sleeve shirt this past summer, and I got burned pretty badly. There’s now a perfect line around my upper arm separating where the sleeve ended and my arm started. I’m not planning on wearing sleeves for the wedding, so I need some help!
Anything is appreciated. Thanks!

You have over a year until your wedding. Just go outside in a bathing suit or sleeveless shirt sometime this summer and it’ll work itself out.

I agree, spend some time in the sun without a top, or something with no straps. It will fade quick. If the day comes and you have awkward tan lines still, you can apply sunless tanner to the lighter areas.

Im sure it will gradually go away, well before May 2021.

Lol yeah I’m aware of how long I have until my wedding. Should have mentioned I’m also in my friends wedding this coming June and am wearing a sleeveless dress so I’d like them to be gone by then! And no sun where I’m at until then unfortunately

Shoot, I realized after I forgot to mention I’m also in a wedding this coming June! So I’d like it to go away before then, as I am wearing a strapless dress! Thanks!

All you need is less then 10 minutes a day outside and the tan lines should go away after a few weeks. But sunless tanner is an easy way to fix it. I use one off Amazon and it's great! Doesnt turn orange and fades away nicely. Other ones I have tried turn blotchy after a week when they start to rub off and fade.
It's called Beauty by earth, and I reccomend buying the mits too.

Since you are over 1 year out from your wedding, I wouldn't stress now. Around March 2021, I'd focus on how you're tanning and shirts you are wearing. If you want to, you could test out spray tans now or at home tanning lotion to see if you find one you like.

Hi! Thank you. Ugh yes, I’m kicking myself because I forgot to mention it’s mainly for my friends wedding this June. I’m in it and wearing a sleeveless dress so I’m worried about that! I’ll look into the home tanning lotions. That seems like a good option
