I am trying to plan a catholic wedding with my now husband in Key West for May 2021. We are married legally a few months ago but are trying to do a catholic wedding with recepción for under 6k, the number of guest will be around 30. Any advice???

My first advice would be to speak to your priest because you’ll actually be requesting a convalidation and not a wedding. All priests/churches/dioceses are different in how they handle those. My church does not allow more than immediate family (parents and siblings and any children if you have them) to attend a convalidation.

Oh okay thanks for the info I did not know that I will contact the priest and ask more info about the arrangements for convalidation.

As Sarah mentioned, you would need to speak with your priest to see how the Catholic wedding piece will happen if you're already married.
