Hi guys! Just wondering I want to walk down the aisle with my dad but I also want to walk down with my fiancé’s father. Has anyone done this and has it worked well for them? I have an older sister so my dad will have another one to walk still but my fiancé is his fathers only child besides his half sister and she got married last year with no aisle. He’s been as much of a father to me as mine and I want him to have that special moment too. Just kind of wondering if any of you guys did this how did you ask both of them? And how did you handle your bouquet while walking down? Thanks!

    I've seen it done through social media where the bride asks the step father to walk her down the isle with her biological dad. Super cute! It all depends on how big your bouquet is. Are you getting a big bouquet day of your wedding where you will need both bands?

    I plan on it being decent size, but I’m sure I won’t end up needing both hands. Just not really sure about how to walk with the both of them and a bouquet.

    You could hold your bouquet in both hands and they could each hold an elbow and escort you. A couple of things though: 1 - have you mentioned this to your dad? (While it's entirely your decision, you don't sound like you want to hurt his feelings, and it might) 2 - if you go this route, you'll need to have a *very* wide aisle.

    Oh that’s a good idea thank you for that! And I haven’t talked to him about it yet I wanted to wait until a couple months before the wedding and I wanted to ask him about it and see if he’s okay with it before I even ask my fiancé’s father. He’s not one for showing much emotion really or being good with serious talks so I know he will just shrug it off and say yeah if that’s what you want to do I’m okay with it
