Affordable Alterations seamstress in Houston??

Help!! I was quoted $845 to alter my dress, which is more than the dress costs!!! I need to get a bustle, waist taken in, hips let out, straps shortened, and bottom hemmed. I went to a popular local alterations shop and almost blacked out when I heard the price! Does anyone have any suggestions for a more affordable Houston tailor??

Hey Erica! Congratulations on finding your beautiful dress! What is it like?
Getting quotes on alterations can totally be a source of sticker shock for brides!
Are there any other local seamstresses or dry cleaners that offer bridal gown alterations? I think it's definitely a good idea to look for some other quotes. You could also ask the store that you bought your dress in whether they have any alteration service recommendations.
