Affordable catering options in north Jersey????

Hi guys! This is my first post on here and I’m in need of help! My FH and I are on a pretty tight budget for our reception and we are looking for some affordable catering options. We are hoping to find something around the $100 pp or under range but won’t lose out on the quality of food. It’s been a struggling looking since most places in north Jersey are around the $150 mark and that’s something that isn’t possible for us. Any advice or recommendation is greatly appreciated!!

I think your best bet is restaurant catering for that price. Even when I was looking for my 2019 wedding, I only saw 1 place with a $100 pp price, and the food was awful.

Hi Claudia! That's going to be tough pricing to find in the NJ & NY area!! Do you already have a venue booked? If not I'd check out some local country clubs - they tend to have more flexible pricing for in-house food!

John Claude Wedding Catering has some really affordable per person packages, and Falco's Catering has base pricing that starts below $100pp. I'd also recommend checking out Signature Creation Caterers, Season Catering & Special Events, Blue Collar Catering, Culinary Creations, Masala Catering Co., and Pierrot Catering based on their lower price points!

We are going with Jean Claude Wedding Catering. They are beyond reasonable and can also add to your menus based on what you want. Their pp pricing starts at $19.95/pp for a buffet. And Kristi who we spoke with was AMAZING. The food was really tasty too.
