Affordable wedding venues nj !!!! Helllppp (2020 bride)

Soontb_Mrs.rush, on March 31, 2018 at 10:43 AM Posted in Community Conversations 2 33
Hello brides 😊 I’m getting married July 18,2020 to my FH . We are coming out of pocket for this wedding ourselves . It’s been stressful planning thus far . We are having 100 guests and we want to keep it as affordable as possible . 75-90 per person . Is anyone else going through the stress of planning ? (No rustic venues )

Affordable is too broad. Something affordable one person can be too much for another. I have a friend who a friend of hers got married recently and she was going to get me all the info bc the wedding was so affordable! Well I then ask her rough estimate of what her friend spent and she said oh just 20 Grand. And yeah for me that’s not affordable. I found my venue on the wedding spot app. I recommend you download it. It was very helpful for me and gave me an idea of where to look, shop and compare prices

The venue I am looking at today has a summer sizzle package which I believe your date works with. It's Versallies Ballroom in Toms River.

    Windsor Ballroom
Richmond Hall in Philadelphia I'm looking at Tuesday and she gave me an AMAZING quote for 75 + guest
The Westwood in Garwood I believe has different packages
The Carriage House in Galloway has a Bliss package that starts at 79 per person, but tax and gratuity not included.

If I think of more I'll add to this post. Yes it is very stressful we got engaged last year in February and I have already taken so many breaks from planning. As you can see I don't even have a venue yet lol. Best of luck OP! Happy Planning.

Are you taking tax and service charges into consideration or is that outside of the 75-90pp? Service charges are typically around 20%, but I’m not sure what the tax in NJ is.

The Grand at 1500 in Lakewood was $75 including tax and gratuity I believe.

We are going to Waterview Pavilion in Belmar for about $76 a person.

Outside the box a smidge is South Wall Firehouse which has an exclusive caterer for $59 plus hall rental

Clarion Hotel in Tom's River is $59 not including tax and gratuity.

You can contact a bunch through WW and get their prices before even going there. It helped me rule out a ton of places and saved a million hours of work

St Pierres in New Brunswick I believe they start at I believe $80 or $90 depending on what entree your pick, but he doesn't require a minimum of guest no matter what day of the week you pick.
