Age and engagement length?

We planned a 13 month engagement for budgetary reasons and per my mother's request. She was adamant about us being engaged for a year. I was 26 when we got engaged and DH was 35. We ended up being engaged for about 3.75 months. We scrapped our big wedding and had a private ceremony when my mother stopped all chemo and radiation treatments. I think as long as you are both on the same page about what you are thinking about marriage, the length of the engagement isn't so important (as long as you aren't delaying for budgetary reasons. Then it's super important).

I'm 40, he's 44... we were friends for a year before dating, then dated a year and 2 months before getting engaged and then a year long engagement. We are getting married on our 26 month anniversary (which is not why we picked the date).

My fiance and I are 25. We've been together for over 6 years and we will be engaged for exactly one year on our wedding day (engaged 12/10/15, married 12/10/16)

We are both 25 FH turns 26 this Thursday. We will both we 26 when we get married. Our engagement length will be 20 months. We have been together for 8 1/2 years. High school sweethearts

I'm 28 and FH is 27, on our wedding day we will have been together 5 years and engaged for 18 months.

We're getting married next October so that will make us 8 years together and engaged for 5 whole years and im 35 foh 36 lol

I just turned 30, FH is 32 going on 33 and we've been together 12 years off/on. By the time we're married, it'll be 14 years to the day we met (I'll be 31, almost 32, he'll be 34, almost 35).

ETA: Forgot to add, our engagement will be just over two years.

I am 21, he is 22 we have dated for 7 years. Our engagement will be just under 10 months.

I'm 27 and DH was 32 when we got married. We were dating for 13 months when we got engaged and our engagement was a little under 2 years.
