Airbrush makeup and eyelash extensions?

How does airbrush makeup work with eyelash extensions? I’ve read that your eyes can be covered so the makeup doesn’t get on the extensions. Has anyone tried this? I have eyelash extensions right now and it’s a love/hate relationship right now but since my wedding is in April I’ve faced the facts I’m going to have to keep them until at least after the wedding. I don’t want to risk having no eyelashes at all at my wedding. But I definitely want airbrush foundation as my skin is on the oilier side plus I think it makes for better formal photos. Just wondering if anyone had any experience or advice on this?

I’d talk with your makeup artist to see how she plans on applying it. I’m putting eyelashes back on next month (my wedding is in April too) & want them to really stand out in the pics.

As pp said, your make up artist should be able to work around the lashes. I too had a love-hate relationship with my lash extensions. I’m back to wearing falsies underneath the eye lash instead of above now. It’s a whole lot easier just popping them on after all of my make up is done and when I put them on underneath my lashes instead of above, it doesn’t pop off in the corners at all. Even if I accidentally have a few extra drinks and fall asleep i with my lashes still on I can wake up and they will still be on my eyes.

Hi Lauren! I'd talk to your makeup artist about your concerns! They can spray around your lashes, or come up with the best order of application for airbrush + lash extensions!
