Hey everyone! Happy Halloween!

I was just on the phone with the hair and makeup consultant at the salon I'm going to for everything and they asked me if I wanted airbrushed or regular makeup. I've never had airbrushed makeup before, so I would love to know what others have done/pros and cons of airbrush. Or did you do regular makeup and were just as satisfied. Let me know! I just wanna hear some real experiences! Smiley smile

A friend of mine thought she wanted airbrush make up and did it for her trial and it was so thick and heavy and unfortunately she didn't even look like herself. I would not recommend it but then again I only have one experience with it.

I've had both and much prefer regular makeup to Airbrush. I felt like the Airbrush Makeup made my skin look fake. I have a lot of freckles and I like for them to show and the Airbrush covered them up to the point where people said I didn't look like myself. It's really a matter of personal preference. I definitely advise trying it out and seeing if you like it!

I got airbrush done as a bridesmaid in August. It was thick and sticky, and looked cakey. Also my eyebrows were all caked over. I was so pissed but it wasn't my day so I didn't say anything.

I'm sure airbrush can look amazing, so just be sure to read reviews and get a trial done!

If you Google search this subject an old WW post on this subject will come up. It was super informative! ETA I only included a screen shot because it has an explanation of air brush makeup.

My MUA told me that if I'm a crier or touch my face a lot I shouldn't do air brush because it is fragile and will crack.

    Airbrush!!

I did my trail run with it for my engagement shoot. LOVED.

It looked more natural and I hate when my face feels caked but this didn't at all

I had airbrush and loved it! I'm a crier and my makeup stayed on all day and night. The next day my mom and MIL complained about how hard it was for them to wash off. As long as you have a good makeup remover you can get it off. I have heard of some people having reactions to it. So make sure you do a trial!

I have no experience on myself with airbrush. But.... I use it at work, I'm a funeral director. And it works AWESOME. looks funky when it goes on, but dries so evenly. And covers literally anything.

Airbrush all the way! I still wanted my freckles to show, so my MUA made me look very natural, but flawless.

Thanks for all the great advice everyone! I think I'm going to try the airbush out at my trial and see how it holds up. I'm highly interested after all the positive experiences

Completely understand you don't want to be rude and it's sometimes difficult to make a choice. But you have an option, you can pay for their hair style and bring some makeup tools that will be helpful to them for doing their makeup themselves. Just make sure while buying the tools that they are reusable like silicone sponge, that is easily washable and can be instantly used by another person. I have seen this tool with my beautician and she was using the tool on the other clients too that seems easy to use, when asked by beautician she suggested navigate to this site and find more details about the makeup tools.
