    The easiest way to do this is to grab a roll of ribbon, tie it on a chair as though it was the ceremony chair. Mark the end, untie and measure out how much you used. Then multiply that by the number of chairs, divide by 36 (to get the yardage instead of inches) and add a good yard for errors/uneven cutting. Then wait for Joann or Michaels to have their BOGO sales. Smiley laugh

    Yes to all of this. I'd add that it would be a good idea to keep the ribbons somewhere they can hang rather than just in a pile in a box so they won't get creases. Maybe also buy an extra roll of ribbon just incase that happens or one gets lost in transit.

    I did this for my wedding exactly actually! and i don't remember how long the ribbon roll i bought was but i remember buying 2 and i don't think i used both rolls in the end
