Aisle runner in a church?

For those getting married in a church, did/are you having an aisle runner? If so, where did you get it? My florist quoted me $350 for a custom one. I found a custom one on ebay for about $110. But I think I can make it for less. PS: I hate that you now have to have a topic or you get an error...

PS: I hate that you now have to have a topic or you get an error message when posting. So I will put EVERYTHING under "Fun Stuff".....after all, isn't all wedding planning considered "Fun Stuff?"

Grandparents,on up to me.I did a search on here & on the net,about the pros/cons of rolling it out before the ceremony & brides made great points about doing this.Like I said,now just gotta convince my dad....... (o;

Z&k, that sounds great! I would just be concerned about the wrinkles from the bridal party walking down. Hmmm, not sure what to do.

I'm having one and having flower petals all along the edges of the aisle runner...my florist is providing it for $45 & it's not a cheapy one, it's a good white cotton one that doesn't slide
