Aisle runner length??

jill, on October 27, 2016 at 8:17 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7

How long should an aisle runner be? I'm not sure what is relevant but it's an outdoor wedding, nothing is set but probably 75-100 guests. I have I think 30ft of burlap my friend used in her wedding and I want to hot glue some fake fall leaves to the left and right sides. Is 30 ft enough? Too much? Help!

Mine is 50 ft. That is what the florist suggested. But I guess you just have to know your space.

You mentioned outdoor - what kind of ground? Grass? We were immediately convinced not to do a runner for the outdoor ceremony since ladies in heals walking on an uneven ground covered by a flimsy material equals a hazard.

We went to a wedding this summer that was outdoors. There was an aisle runner on the grass and honestly, it was pretty obnoxious. People were yelling at guests to get off the aisle runner while we were trying to get to our seats. If it's outdoors, I would reconsider.

I really like @Kate's idea! @krueger it is outdoors. I think it's crazy that people were being yelled at because of an aisle runner. I'll think on it and consider options
