Aisle runner or no aisle runner.

FutureMrsLawson, on August 29, 2016 at 8:24 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 14

Believe it or not this is actually a serious thing I keep thinking of. Our venue has beautiful hardwood flooring so I was thinking of maybe just outlining the aisle with flowers but im not sure. Aisle runners, are they hard to walk on? Does your heel break it? Do you trip? That kind of scares me. I already have to go down stairs for the entrance, so tripping is already scary? What did everyone else have? any pictures? They both look so pretty to me.

    No aisle runner. Unnecessary expense.

I was advised by every florist I met with not to do a runner inside. They said its slippery! They also told me that fake flower petals work better to line the walkway than real flower petals. Hope this helps!

I'm thinking unnecessary expense to. I was thinking lining the sides with petals. Our wedding is navy blue and silver. Maybe I'll outline it with a white and navy together.

My church actually won't allow aisle runners because of the safety issue...you can trip too easily! I like the outlining with flowers idea Smiley smile

No aisle runner. I was a BM in a wedding with an aside runner on hardwood floors. We ended up going bare foot because we kept slipping and almost falling when we rehearsed that morning.

No aisle runner - it's a total tripping hazard! You want to be able to look at your FH while walking down the aisle not down at the floor to make sure you don't trip! I would grab some flower petals from your florist or Michaels. We're doing a few mason jars with babiesbreath down the sides of our aisle!

I would save your money. You could get silk flower petals and put them all along the aisle instead. Super cheap on Ebay.

My church has a "carpet" runner. So no runner for us. Save your money Smiley smile
