Best aisle runner for outside?

Aisle runners outside can be tricky. So, to me, the best is not having one outside at all. But if you desire the look of an aisle runner outdoors, definitely consider how you will secure it to the ground surface so that the entire length of the runner is completely flat/straight. That way, the wind doesn’t blow it and make the runner become a tripping hazard. So I’d suggest testing it out prior to the wedding day.

Agree with PP- it can be tricky. I opted to not get one because I didn’t want people tripping on it. Most importantly, I didn’t want to see footprints on it in the pics.

I disagree with both PP'ers. We had an aisle runner for our outside wedding and had absolutely no issues. No one tripped, it didn't bunch up, there was nothing "tricky" about it. Whatever runner you choose, just make sure you get the runner pins to secure it to the ground.

Check The Original Runner Company. Their runners are gorgeous and can be customized. They will also send you a free sample of different color/fabric options.

You can also check Amazon. They have a lot of options.

So instead of a aisle runner what does everyone think of the high heel protectors so my heels won’t sink into the grass? ☺️

I’ve seen those high heel protectors and wanted to try them. But I haven’t done so yet. But since your ceremony is on grass, I would give them a try ahead of time. Also, my thoughts still stand about runners outside, especially on grass. The Original Runner Company has been around for a while and, yes, their runners are nice (only ones I’d recommend if someone really wants a runner). But you’ll notice that they don’t have very many pics of their runners on grass.

Yeah an aisle runner isn’t a must so I’ll try out the heel protectors!
