Mine was at a restaurant brunch and we had mimosas and bloody mary's. Most of the ones I have been to at home have had mimosas, champagne and wine.

My shower had wine, bloody Marys, mimosas and bellinis. I don't think it's poor hosting not to include it as it's usually a lunchtime event, but it definitely makes things a bit more fun

Oddly enough, I had a bridal luncheon thrown for me and I couldn't tell you if we had alcohol for an option. But different drinks can be done. Do it if you want.
