Alcoholic wedding favors?

I love it! Agree with having multiple flavours of soda/liquor. Our original idea was to do small things of champagne and orange juice!

Just keep in mind to add a note about opening liquor on the premises? Before we were doing a DW, we spoke to venues about the champagne and orange juice idea, and every single one of them mentioned that guests were not allowed to open the champagne on the venue. Maybe it was just my province (BC), but just some food for thought! I love the idea though!

Cute! I think edible favors are pretty much always a hit. We have been to a wedding where the favors were mini champagne bottles and also one where it was homemade wine (awesome!). We loved both ideas!

FH's cousin works at a whiskey distillery and we wanted to do this. I checked our contract and it said we couldn't bring in our own liquor. I double checked with the venue coordinator and she said as long as they remain unopened, it would be fine. We're skipping them because we don't want to "keep tabs" on the guests to make sure the bottles remain unopened. Instead, FH is getting a bottle of whiskey to have for the GM while they get ready .

I love the idea, but second the other posters who suggested multiple varieties. I don't like Jack and Coke, but there are several other "classic" combinations that I'd be stoked about!

If outside liquor at the venue is a concern, you could always set them up on a table that guests will see as they exit the venue. Brings the likelihood of people drinking them in house way down!

Cute! We gave out mini tequila bottles. Guests loved them!

We are doing mini Crown Apple, so of course I love the idea. I want to put something else with them, but no telling what.

I did alcohol favors. Make sure your venue will allow it. We had to hand ours out as people exited so no one drank them on the premises.

My venue specifically said no alcohol favors, be sure to check, but if they allow it go for it!

Late to the party, but I would love to hear how that went over with your guests? We're also planning to give mini homemade limoncello bottles as favors, but we've heard from one or two people who think it's a bad idea to gift liquor...
