Alfred Angelo Closing? UPDATED - THEY ARE CLOSED!

CountingDowntoMrs, on July 13, 2017 at 12:06 PM

Maybe I've been under a rock and this is old news or not true, but there's a post on a local FB page that all AA locations are closing today. Anyone know if this is correct? The post also says in-store items are up to 80% off. Update in comments.

Might anyone have the phone number of the seamstress that does the alterations for the Alfred Angelo store on Niagara Falls Boulevard? She was doing the alterations for my friends gown and her daughter's wedding gown! The wedding is August 12. They are devastated. Any help is appreciated!

I am literally freaking out. They were doing alterations on my dress when they closed. I never got a call to pick up my dress and was unaware that they were closing. I have no idea what's going on or how to get my dress. My wedding is in a little over 3 weeks!

This is all the documentation that is currently available about the closing of Alfred Angelo. If brides continue to shop Azzazie, Amazon and the like, this pattern of store closures will continue. Brick and mortar stores cannot survive without their customers. So ladies, when you're wondering why all your favorite clothing, electronic, and department stores are closing, Think Twice before shopping China Online. You are hurting your own local economy each time you buy from Azzazie, Amazon, DHGate, AliBaba, etc...

This may be a silly question but are just the stores closing and the dresses still available at other stores? There is a mom and pop type store near me that sold AA dresses and I'm wondering if the designs will still be made?

My bridesmaids ordered and paid for their dresses in May, and I can't find any information on what is going to happen with their orders. Will those orders be shipped to them? If not, will they get their money back? Does anyone have any information? The stores are certainly closed, and nobody from the company has made a statement.

My bridesmaids purchased their dresses from Alfred's Angelo. They indeed closed today! We had to pick two dresses up last minute because of it! Crazy!!!! So glad I didn't order my bridal gown from them.

I just went in there two weeks and was told the same thing, how they are changing to an off the rack store. They sold the dress I had originally made an appointment to see but were working on getting the one left in my size shipped from the warehouse. I talked to my consultant on Tuesday and she said it was on the way and she'd call me when it arrived. I have been calling the store all day with no answer. Thank god I didn't put any money down! But I'm heartbroken because that dress was perfect! And it's pretty hard to find beautiful dresses for larger women, such as myself. I wish they would have handled this differently. I feel terrible for the brides who are stuck in limbo.

Ladies if your dress was already in store or with seamstress then it should get shipped to you. I was at my location yesterday and the ladies were working really hard to get everything packaged and sent out. The biggest problem is for those who ordered and are waiting for dress arrival

Flagged @Ananda. You can't advertise here. And way to do it in such a tasteless manner.
