All Out Or Laid Back?

I'm planning on more natural-looking makeup, but that's the great thing about trials - you can see how the burgundy looks on you and then decide if you want to switch to something else! I think the bold lip would be gorgeous on you just based on your profile picture though.

I'm definitely going with a more natural look, maybe a little bit of a smoky eye if I can manage and a subtle lip color. I want to look like myself on my wedding day and I only ever wear eyeliner, mascara, and brow powder. I'll doing my own makeup!

I'm doing my own make up. I wear a face full of makeup daily. So I'm probably just going to add a bit more shadow, a little more lipstick and maybe some false eyelashes. But I'm not going to go too far away from what I normally do.

Understandable. I've only ever wore makeup a few times in my life and I wasn't even the one that applied it so definitely not my department. Kudos to like almost every woman who does their own makeup. I don't even own lipstick lol.

Yeah, I also sell makeup for Mary Kay so I almost feel like a walking advertisement for myself lol. Oh gosh just a quick check of my purse confirms I have 3 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses and 1 lip balm in my purse. I may have a problem lol.

I wouldn't personally deviate TOO much from your normal look. Your FH wants to see the glammed up you, but still YOU. You also won't want to look back in 20 years and think that you made a mistake by trying something too trendy.

Understandable. That's why I'm getting a trial for it first. I already showed him and he said he likes it but if I do the trial and end up not liking it, I'll do something else.

I agree 1000%! A burgundy dress sounds gorgeous. I originally wanted a Navy Blue ball gown dress. It was beautiful but a lot of things changed from our original plans. It's ok though. I'm just as excited!

I hired a professional HAMU artist for me and I went bold. I never wear makeup day to day, so I was excited to look super glam on our wedding day. If you google what color lip shades look best with your skin tone, you should be able to find some good information. That's how I decided on mine!

I don't wear makeup at all, but I'll probably cave into my mom's request for me to wear lipstick. Even then it'll be a very natural look for sure!
