My boutique (Chernaya Bridal House in Miami - highly recommend!) offered detachable cap sleeves and a detachable crinoline under skirt all included, as well as pretty much anything else I want done to it. Too many options. 🙈 Leads me to my follow up question. The dress in the first picture is the one I chose. I am considering altering the neckline from the mild sweetheart it is now, to the deeper sweetheart shown in the second photo. Am I just changing things because they told me I could or do you all think it would look better that way? I do lean towards it but also don’t want to mess too much with a good thing.

Went from A-Line to a trumpet. Lots of material to work with and it came out fabulous. At first she didn’t think a little longer in back would work, but at my final fitting it looked amazing. She was even surprised. Imagine the seamstress was surprised

That’s awesome! I’d love to see before and afters if you have them, that sounds like such a cool change.

I'm a type 1 diabetic who wears an insulin pump, so the key alteration I had made was that my seamstress added a little interior pocket for my pump. I usually wear it clipped to my bra, but there's no way I could make that work with the neckline of my dress. She also added a bustle and took in the bust a bit. She also had to take in the straps because they were sliding all over the place.

Yes, I much prefer the deeper sweetheart neckline. It adds some style to the top of the dress and will look great with a necklace

Actually, I haven’t seen it yet! We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, so I had to pick up my dress from DB on a rush without even trying it on again! It’s been sitting in its garment bag for almost a year now, lol.

Your dress is beautiful! But I do agree that the deeper neckline is more flattering on you!
