Alternative bridal march songs

mrsW2be, on August 23, 2010 at 9:06 AM Posted in Planning 0 21

Any ideas for a song other than "Here comes the bride" for a bridal march? We're using pop songs performed by the Vitamin String Quartet for the majority of the ceremony. I just haven't heard something I can see myself walking to. Thanks!

The problem with Canon in D is that it was recently used for my fiance's nana's funeral Smiley sad so we're trying to stay away from it.

I didn't want the traditional march either, and I heard a very different version of it from Jonathan Cain of Journey and it is so different and unique and only slightly hints to the traditional version in the middle a little bit ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIyXWm_cw2E

I'm using a piano version of "Something Good" from Sound of Music for my walk, and a song called "Butterfly Waltz" by Brian Crain for the bridal party. I can't get on youtube at work, but you can find both of them on there.

I am walking down to the instrumental version of Kissing You by Desiree. It's the love song from Romeo Juliet (1996)

    Everytime I hear it now,
