I made wands for my bridesmaids, my husband made swords for his groomsmen. And therefore we had a sword for a guest book. We will have it hung by our family crest in our house!

View Quoted Comment Amazon and Etsy have a ton to choose from. On average they’re about $100+ which I thought was a little pricey for a guest book, but it’s something unique and we would definitely use in the future.

We're thinking about doing a quilt where everyone signs pieces of fabric with their notes/well wishes. Otherwise I'm also thinking of a framed picture or sign that we can hang in our home.

We’re using a go pro as a video guest book. Everyone can record us their own message.

I found this idea on etsy. Since we come from two different countries, ours will have our two countries in our favorite colors. A friend is designing it and I'll print it.

A second very close contender for me was a giant Y (first letter of last name) that everyone signs.
Third place a frame where everyone drops a signed heart in.
Fourth polaroid guestbook.
Fifth traditiobal guestbook.
I wish I could do all those ideas. I love them all. Really couldn't decide. So FH had to make the decision. :-D :-D

Polaroid Camera Guest book!

My fiance and I like to write each love notes and draw each other pictures. He's an art major and I used to be one. We are going to put all our cards together in a book and have people sign around them for a keep sake.

I love this idea! FH and I played giant Jenga during our first date so it would be a fun callback to the beginning of our relationship to have a Jenga guest book!

We'll technically have 2 things:

1. I love scrapbooking and, of course, will be making an engagement/wedding scrapbook for us. The main "guest book" will actually be pages of that scrapbook. I'll be providing multiple colors of my acid-free scrapbooking pens for guest use and then inserting those pages into the scrapbook as I build it.

2. Back in August 2020 my favorite local line dancing venue had to close their doors permanently. FH is a plumber and ended up doing work there for the new owners of the building. While there, he managed to snag a couple square sections of the wood dance floor from right in front of the DJ booth - where I generally danced when I was on the main floor. He cut one of them into a heart and gave it to my for my 30th birthday in Nov 2020. We'll have Sharpies available for guests to sign their name only on that, which will then be hung on the wall over our bed.
