I recently asked my brother if his 3 year old would be my ring bearer to which he said yes, woohoo!
I would love to have a flower girl too, but the only young girls I know are my niece and our groomsman's baby who will both only be about 1 by the time the wedding happens in May.
I do know a couple other young boys (cousins' kids), but unfortunately my extended family is more... uh, sexist, and don't want their boys to be called flower girls or dropping petals. I mentioned the idea casually and got a lot of negative comments about how they would be uncomfortable having their boys do it. So I dropped it and didn't ask them formally.
Now I guess I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for alternatives to flower girls? Or some way to use a one year old?
It's not the end of the world to not have one, but it would certainly be cute if I could figure something out!
