Alternative to Petals for Flower Girls

TealWedding, on May 23, 2017 at 8:56 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 22

Anyone have a fun idea for an alternative to petals that the flower girls can sprinkle as they walk down the aisle?

Not a sprinkle, but they could carry a basket of flowers and hand them out to the women sitting in aisle seats.

Confetti if you want something thrown or kissing balls/flower pompoms if you just want them carrying something

I also thought about glitter for like a half second and then I was like oh god no.

I wanted leaves for my fall theme but the flower girls out voted me. I can stand up to my mom & FMIL but when I hear Aunt Tricia, I'm done, lol

My flower girl can't drop petals in the church so I made her a cute sign to carry instead.

Colored jimmies, confetti, or just have them walk down the aisle and not sprinkle anything.

Haha jimmies would be awesome! And for those that aren't from New England, jimmies are the candy sprinkles you put on ice cream.

My flower girl (will be 3 yo) can't throw anything due to church rules. I'm giving her a mini bouquet that matches the bridesmaids. She's super excited to match her mom (my sister who will be a BM).

I'd do mini bouquets! Though sprinkles or colored confetti sounds quite cute Smiley smile

The church prohibits flower petals so my flower girls will carry lanterns instead.
