Alternative to Wedding planner

I don't understand.... how is that an alternative to a wedding planner? You can use the Vendors tab above, to help find people near you in each one of the categories you need help with. Basically, it's a DIY instead of a wedding planner.

Wait what do you need help with? Are you trying to use your family and friends as alternative wedding planners? If so, please don't.

Yes, please leave your guests as guests, not as free workers. Hire people for the jobs that need doing, or have a day of coordinator.

Agreed, hire a day of coordinator who can help you with the day of. Don't use friends or family for this. Chair and linen rentals you would have to find a rental company to delivery those.

For the vendors that you are needing help with, you can use the WW vendor tab. For the timing and execution piece, my advice it to hire a DOC.

Hi Nora, welcome to WW! Make sure to upload a picture for your avatar (instead of the default icons) so that we can get to know you and tell you apart from all the other posters. You can do this on a desktop computer or a mobile browser (just not on the app) under My Settings and Profile and Privacy Settings.

I definitely agree that you should hire a day of coordinator! They can handle all of the set-up, delivery of linen rentals, etc. Check out the vendor search on here for wedding planners in your are:

Most of us don't have help with planning. You either hire someone or do it yourself
