Hello! FH and I have a large wedding party, 9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. While it's totally acceptable and normal, we feel bad that some people in the party will be at the end, quite far away. Almost the whole wedding party is immediate family.
We were thinking of having them stand in windows, like the image here. We have a few very tall guys that are 6'5+ that could stand in the back and still be visible. I know someone will have to be at the very end either way, but we thought people would be much closer to us in this arrangement than 8 down.
I was wondering if anyone else has tried an arrangement besides the usual straight line? Our head table at dinner is tiered and arranged so no one is more than 4ish people away from us, so we'd like to try that for the ceremony too.
