Alternatives to dancing

I live in upstate new york and dancing is not allowed at weddings. So I want to find some fun safe activities to fill in the time people would be dancing, that way people aren't sitting around board. I bought some lawn games, I got ladder ball, Kan jam, and corn hole. Can you please give me some...

Can you please give me some ideas and suggestions on what else I could do to make the reception fun and fill in the time people would normally be dancing?

I'm hoping he let's us dance by then but I do want to have alternatives in case. And if we are allowed to dance and I hire or buy alternative then it's just extra stuff to do for people who don't like dancing to add extra fun. I'm hoping Cuomo let's up a little before our weddings. 🤞🤞🤞

I really hope things change by time your wedding is here. Mine is next month!!! I'm in downstate NY but doesn't matter, same governor, same no dancing rule! Just an FYI - No cornhole either! I found that out lastnight when I suggested karaoke as another form of entertainment. My aunt brought up the whole list so it's: no dancing, no karaoke, no cornhole, no darts, no exotic dancers. Now this is funny to me because my bach party was Saturday and there was dancing, karaoke and exotic dancers LOL but it was a secluded private venue so I guess no one would know. My catering hall is the one who originally informed us about the no dancing so I'm sure they're not going to let karaoke slide.

Ugh, I'm so frustrated but anyway to your question, I do have a photobooth, you could do that those are always fun. I'm thinking about hiring a local comedian now. But I'm still looking for other ideas. My problem is mainly my crowd is "dance people" so this is really really a bummer.

Thank you, and I hope your wedding goes perfect. We all deserve that magical day. I've been thinking about doing board games, photo both, card games. But then again I'm not sure I'm going to need a lot because I don't think I'll be able to have a lot of guests. I think I'll wait till spring time to decide what I'm going to do to replace the dancing.
