I can't do a photo booth because other friends are doing it at their wedding and want it to be 'different and original'... but what else is there to do? What other things are being done at weddings to create a fun and interactive feature or favor aside from the photo booth?

If you like the idea of photobooths, depending on where you are, some companies carry videobooths where people can leave you and your FH well wishes as well as upload their videos to their Facebook or other Social Networking sites.

I recently had one at a wedding and everyone loved it! Good luck in your search!

I am not sure if someone already suggested this or not as I didn't read all the comments, but you could do Flipbooks. I went to a bridal show and they were there and had it all set up. It was popular there and it was fun to do!!

Hayley C. - Thanks for the links. I checked them out and just caught the end of an auction for the printers used for a DIY photobooth. I won! 2 canon pixma mini260 printers for $23.50+$20 shipping. Totally an impulse buy- wasn't prepared to actually win! I guess I need to figure out how to make a photobooth now!

Capstory is the all-inclusive solution for couples to capture every priceless moment of their wedding story, their photo journal of every event from the engagement through the honeymoon. Today, friends and family members are capturing hundreds of photos and videos on their mobile devices.

Couples receive their own webpage where all of the photos, videos and messages are easily shared. The couple, family and friends share their media simply by text-messaging and/or emailing the content directly to the webpage (ex. **************@********.**).

With our smart technology, media shows up instantly allowing couples to showcase a live photo stream from their webpage at the reception. This becomes a fun, engaging experience for the guests as they snap and share photos, they get to watch it show up live on the big screen!

After the wedding is over and guests have a chance to upload final photos from their digital cameras, our professionals get to work retouching the guest submitted pictures. Couples can print individual shots from their webpage and our team creates beautiful keepsake items including photo books and a video slideshow of their journey.

In these moments, one lens is not enough...
