That a girl!! I did the same thing. Your doing great! Happy for both of you. Get it out of the way, just like me some little things left to do but it’s all done which gives me time to relax a little before the big day.

Congratulations! You said you have narrowed down your venues but have you signed a contract with either one or made sure your date is available before starting to put dates on STDs?

Look at you! I get it though. We didn’t do any planning for 8 months (just enjoying engagement) but once we started I had it all booked in a month lol

I honestly had all my vendors picked out before I even got engaged. I visited a handful of other venues with my then fiance, but ultimately ended up with the one I'd chosen prior. I had to force myself to wait and book people lol. I got engaged in June 2021, had all vendors booked by January 2022 and am not having the wedding until March 2023.

You aren’t crazy! I had a venue and photographer locked down before we’d been engaged a month! Just make sure you don’t rush too too much, in case you make a decision and then later wish you’d done something else. Sounds like you are doing well just collecting all your quotes and options at this point. Have fun!

We booked our venue less then a month after getting engaged.. but we’ve been together for almost 9 years and have 3 little girls together so we have had plenty of time to think and it was ABOUT TIME that he asked me 😂😂
