Hi y'all, so I posted a few days ago that FH and I have decided to have a small church wedding and take our guests out for dinner and drinks afterwards. I already have my gown that I simply adore but now I'm wondering if it's "too busy" for such a small celebration? My initial plan is to wear it to...

Hi y'all, so I posted a few days ago that FH and I have decided to have a small church wedding and take our guests out for dinner and drinks afterwards. I already have my gown that I simply adore but now I'm wondering if it's "too busy" for such a small celebration? My initial plan is to wear it to the restaurant too because it's so darn cute lol. Should I buy a more simpler gown or rock what I already have? Here's a pic of me in my gown, it's a blush color.

    Thank y'all so much for the kind words!!!!! It hasn't been altered yet @AMW I think it needs to be hemmed but other then that I'm ready to go!!!

    I agree with RiceandRoses ! A bride can never be overdressed. It's a great dress.

    I'm of the opinion that your venue is irrelevant to your wedding dress. The dress you love is the dress you should wear. Your wedding is the only time you can wear a ridiculously amazing dress, and you should absolutely take advantage.

    I am of the opinion that a wedding dress does not have to match the fanciness of a venue. In fact, until going on WW, it wouldn't have even occurred to me that a wedding dress could be too fancy, sparkly , or [insert adjective here] for a specific venue. A wedding dress is a wedding dress.
