Before you say my wedding is a few months away.....

I have already had one shower and have another this weekend. We are registered at Amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond.

The BB&B registry has been blowing up and is probably already 40% purchased!!! But only one thing has been bought from my Amazon registry.

Most of my favorite registry items are on my Amazon registry but I'm concerned that people won't buy them.

Have you had this experience with your Amazon registry? Is there something about it that makes people not want to use it? Am I doing something wrong?

We have a website where both registries are listed.

We registered at target and bbb. All my gifts so far Have been from target except for like 3 things. I really wanted a bed set from bbb but IDK if people are even looking at it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I really appreciate it! Even the ones who called me spoiled and gift-grabby.

As far as the multiple showers comment.....not throwing them for myself ladies. I can't help what my friends and family so generously want to give me. Wouldn't want to not appreciate someone wanting to do something for me Smiley smile

I wanted to get one of the ladies on here a virtual shower gift from Amazon, but it wouldn't let me include a gift message, so I ultimate chose another person's registry. Maybe your items are the same way? I know it depends on the seller.

Don't worry about the multiple showers. It is quite common. I have 2 on my calendar because my bridesmaids are throwing one and my future MIL wanted to throw one for his side of the family.

Lizzy, that's really strange! I've received 2 gifts off my amazon registry and both had a message!

Ashley, are you registered for items on Amazon or their universal registry tool? For the universal tool, I wonder if it's because they aren't confirming their purchase through email? It requires them to click purchased and then click confirm on an email that's sent to them before it can be marked off.

It's a generational thing. I have a target and anthropologie registry. My anthro one has been mostly hit by younger people while target had more purchases by the older, more traditional crowd.

Well I have one registry and it's on Amazon. This should be interesting.

Let's be honest, bbb has coupons too! I would probably choose that over Amazon for that reason alone. Also, if it was a shower I was attending in person I'd rather physically pick something out. If it was something I was invited to, but couldn't attend id choose the online option.

JerseyJen, I have Amazon items and items from other sites! I wasn't aware of that!! Maybe I'll get some surprises and then I can just mark them off myself!

It may not only be that they want to go in store but depending on when they purchase the gift, they may not have it in time to give you at the shower if it is purchased online

It could be the never expiring 20% coupons. I have a stockpile and would pick BB&B for that reason.
