Has anyone registered at Amazon and, if so, did your guests use it? I am thinking people are more likely to go to brick and mortar stores for gifts. FH really likes Amazon but that's how HE shops. We made an Amazon registry and some of our preferred gifts are on it, I have two thoughts...duplicate them somewhere like Bed, bath and beyond and remove from the other as they are bought or just take the things off Amazon. Any advice?

We have Amazon and BBB and we have multiple gift cards from Amazon and some BBB gifts. That's from the shower. Will find out anything from the wedding in 6 weeks.

Most of our gifts were from Amazon. One thing I wish we would have done was update our mailing address on the registry. We had moved about 6 months before the wedding and already established our registry and forgot to update the address. Almost all of our gifts were forwarded to us but there was a set of pots and pans we had to pay $19 in postage to receive since it was sent to our old address.

I've purchased several bridal shower gifts from Amazon over the past few years. I love the convenience for out of state relatives and since I'm a Prime member I don't pay for shipping. Also don't have to wrap it, which I HATE wrapping! LOL!!

We did Amazon and Crate and Barrell. More used CandB but I think that was because we had more bigger ticket items on Amazon. I highly recommend though!

We registered at Amazon and BBB. We only received 4 gifts from Amazon and the rest from BBB.

We will be doing bed bath and beyond, amazon, and probably target. We have a mix of family and friends, some who love to shop and order online and also those who prefer the brick and mortar stores. Although, with amazon a lot of grocery and department type stores sell gift cards for target so any last minute shoppers can always do a gift card lol! I know I have been in that predicament before, the date snuck up or had to wait for payday and everything was pickdd off the registry, so beautiful card and a gift card it was.

We used Amazon and Macy's. Everyone flocked to Amazon. Got barely any of the gifts from Macy's at my shower. I am trying an experiment where I moved some stuff from Macy's to the Amazon one. We'll see what happens. Def go with Amazon though!!!

People used my Amazon registry more than my Kohl's one. I had duplicates too and I just deleted them from the other when they were purchased.

I used Amazon and loved it! I made one at a brick and mortar for my shower so people could use it if they wanted to for, but didn't list that anywhere on the wedding website. I would highly recommend.

We registered at 2 stores n Amazon. We did receive a gift card for Amazon; but other than that...everyone else went to the local stores.

I know some say that they Amazon registry went over great, so if probably depends on if your guests typically shops on Amazon already or not.

Amazon and Macy's here. We're sitting about 50/50. I've even had the same guests buy from both registries.

I registered at amazon. Personally, I hate friggin shopping. I don't want to go drive to a store to get something and then have to deal with getting it to someone. Amazon is 3 clicks and boom, done. And I can do it in my underwear on my couch. Older people that don't use amazon or shop online should have an options for a brick and mortar but if most of your crowd shops online amazon can be a huge help

We did amazon and target-mostly amazon though. If traveling for wedding a lot easier and 2 day shipping ideal rather than going to store. If ppl don't feel comfortable I put on website we'd prefer money or gift card rather than tangible gift have to try to transport home on planes! I'm not gonna ok worried about getting specific things though

We have BBB and Amazon. Amazon is the go to for our guests. Only 1 gift has been bought off BBB.

Amazon has better prices, reviews, and a thank you list (so you know who sent/got you what). Read the Amazon perks. The return time is 120 days, free returns. Lots of benefits we liked.

    We've registered at Amazon!

I made sure to register for Prime items only (just cause I thought it would be nice for guests to have free shipping in case they have a Prime account).

So far, my guests are loving the amazon registry. It's super easy and the prices are a lot better than bbb. Returns are simple, too.
