We did Amazon! We only have one registry. We both really like it and it's easy to use. We invited 220 guests, around 105 households, and our registry has around 80 items from $10-$300. I'm assuming it will please traditional gift givers, and everyone else can give cash/check which I think is more common anyway! I think 2-3 registries is fine, as long as you don't repeat items (two coffee makers, three plate sets, etc.) and it's not too excessive with the amount of things per registry.
I'm registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Amazon. I'm finding that big ticket items are more reasonably priced at BBB, but I like that guests can contribute towards large items, and you can set the contribution thing at a certain dollar amount. So for example, all gifts over $100 people can pool money towards.
I have most things on my Amazon registry, with a few things that I couldn't find on Amazon on the BBB
We registered on Amazon, it's really easy to use Like creating a new wish list that you can keep hidden until you're ready to share. Every item you look at going forward will just have the "add to wedding registry" option. You can choose to set a dollar limit (ie. $100) and everything above that price will automatically be a "group" gift, so guests can just choose a certain dollar amount to contribute.
We are also doing BBB and Crate & Barrel (I've heard Pottery Barn is a good alternative also). But we're having a larger wedding, inviting ~300.

We did register with Amazon and really loved it! Such a great selection of things to choose from (better than any other place we looked at). Our guests definitely used it as everything was purchased! If one of you is a Prime member, make sure that person sets up the registry as their "incentives" are better if you are a Prime member.
FH and I are using Amazon; Bed, Bath & Beyond; and Macy's. We wanted to have online options as well as brick and mortar options. We like the Amazon registry but there were certain things we wanted from the other two places as well.
We did Amazon and BBB for our registries. We added some unconventional items, like camping things and stuff like that, which was why I liked Amazon. It gave us way more options than BBB. Most people did buy from BBB than Amazon, though. Not sure exactly why. Maybe because some of those things were unconventional lol and they didn’t want to gift us certain things, but they were on our registry for a reason 🤷🏻♀️ But I liked both registries, they were easy to use and I like that both have a post-wedding completion discount. You have to meet a certain requirement for the Amazon one though.
We registered with Amazon, Zola, and a Royal Carribbean registry, since were going on a cruise for our honeymoon. Amazon is great for my out of towners, because they can buy it close to the wedding and know it will he delivered quickly. The Royal Carribbean is my fave though, because you register for all types of stuff like massages, 20 bucks for pictures, etc, but whatever they buy is just money on your account on the cruise! I could spend every dollar on massages if I wanted!

We are registered at Target & Crate & Barrel. I really like Crate & Barrel's kitchen stuff and I feel like its good quality so I'm excited for that!
I have a friend who is doing the Amazon registry. In some ways it seems convenient, but in other ways, you truly have no idea the quality of what you're getting. I liked looking around in stores and seeing the physical items.
DH and I registered at Amazon, Target and Wanderable. It was great to have a brick and mortar store for those who weren't tech savvy and the variety of Amazon can't be beat. If you shop on Amazon, you will find their registry easy to use.
If you are considering a Honeymoon registry (I know that some people absolutely hate them) I would recommend Wanderable. They had the lowest fees and I like that they let you can elect to cover the fee.
I am registered at Amazon. I like it so far. I like how I can add notes to the items that will show up when guests click them, like if there is a certain reason I want something, I could let the guests know on the item.
