Anniversary Dance instead of bouquet toss

I love this idea of anniversary dance instead of a bouquet toss, we are already skipping the garter toss. So I was wondering what are some song suggestions for this dance/game and has anyone done this at their weddings and did it a lot of people participate?

Yikes! I didn't realize the bride usually gives the last couple standing the bouquet. I wasn't planning on having a toss bouquet (how expensive are they generally?). Would it be okay to give them the floral arrangement from the sweetheart table instead?

I did an anniversary dance at my first wedding and it was set to "One Friend" by Dan Seals :-)

I've never seen the brides bouquet given to the last couple standing.

I've just seen the anniversary dance used to get people up and moving. But that sounds like a good idea @JuliaBeth.

I love this idea. I know the oldest couple will be my FH's auntie and uncle (married over 50 years), and I had already kind of planned on giving them the toss bouquet but this will make it an "event."

We are doing the anniversary dance too but my DJ does it in reverse so that in the end everyone is out on the dance floor! So we will start with us (couple married for less than a day or whatever LOL) and then he will work up to being married to 50 years (both of our grandparents). So that in the end every single couple is out there dancing and then he will invite the single people to join us as well and the dance floor will be open for the rest of the night!

I really love this idea and when I was telling my FH about it, he said that he and his parent's went to a wedding a few years ago where they did this. His parents were the last on the dance floor, but were completely embarrassed because they had been married longer than the groom's grandparents! So, I can't decide if being the 'oldest' married couple at their own son's wedding would be embarrassing or not! I definitely don't want to make them feel uncomfortable!
