Another bridesmaid +grooms questions!!!

Mine bought theirs. Except for the groomsmen we got all the ties and suspenders for them

The groomsmen and bridesmaids usually purchase their own attire. I would recommend speaking with them individually about their budget so that you don't pick out something they can't afford.

Bridesmaids purchase dresses and men rent suits

Majority of bridesmaids & groomsmen purchase/rent their own attire. Only seen a few where the bride/groom purchase it for them.

It’s up to you and your budget. If it’s within your budget to pay for their attire, it’s an awesome gesture! If it’s not, then it’s courteous to take their budgetary constraints into consideration when deciding their wardrobes. I’d say of the weddings I’ve been in, it’s been about 50/50 whether I’ve had to pay for dress or if the couple purchased them for us.

We purchased the bridesmaids dresses and rented the suits for our groomsmen because it was within our budget. We are having a semi-destination wedding where everyone has to travel and reserve lodging, so we thought it would be a good idea to relieve them of having to pay for their attire! It’s definitely not required but is a kind gesture if it’s in your budget. Do take their budgets into consideration when picking attire though!

Oh wow, that would definitely be out of my budget! 😅 We bought the bridesmaids dresses from David’s Bridal and they were about $120-150 each. We rented the groomsmen suits from Men’s Warehouse and they were $200 each.

Bridesmaids usually pay for their own dresses and groomsmen pay for their suit or tux rentals.

I worked in bridal for three years, typically the wedding party is responsible for paying for their own attire. However, we’re buying all the suits and dresses for our party as their gifts, but that doesn’t seem very common

My bridesmaids all bought their dress and thr groomsmen are all paying to rent their suits on their own. Most of the tux places have a deal that if the groom brings all the groomsmen with him to the fitting and they rent or buy their suits from them then the groom gets his suit free of charge.

We bought them for our bridal party because it was important to us that they not have to pay money for the honor of standing up in our wedding. I've never been in a wedding where the bride or groom paid for our outfits though.
