Another day another Covid-19 worry

Hello ladies! I need some advice. We currently have a deposit down for our honeymoon in October to Riveria Maya, Mexico. We have not paid anything other than the deposit, and I at the time (Before all the craziness), did not get travel insurance, and can not add it to this package. We were planning on paying the majority off when we got taxes back, well now here they are but I am nervous to pay all that money in case something happens, since once again we would not be getting a refund. My question to y'all is, should I hold off until paying it, (payment due date August 1st) which would be hard for me cause I'm nervous I'll spend it on other wedding stuff. Should I go ahead and just pay it now? Or take the loss of deposit and make other plans with travelers insurance? Any help would be much appreciated!
