Anthropologie Registry?

Hi there,

Has anyone used the anthropologie registry before? Is there a place where it shows you who actually sent you the gifts or when things are shipping? I've been able to match them up with the invoices so far, but it would be a lot easier if they had a thank you manager or something! I feel like I've searched everywhere on the site...would they maybe have the info if I called or emailed?

    If you call them they will let you know who sent what!

    Just a warning, I just returned a gift from there and they refunded the person who bought it for me, and sent them an email saying it was returned. I learned the hard way.

    This is the worst possible company to register with.

    They don't give you any information.

    I attempted to exchange something that was backordered and they cancelled the order and notified the gift giver.

    Their customer service is the worst.

    Trust me, don't register with them. Stick to Bloomingdales, Zola, Amazon, literally anywhere else.

    The same thing happened to me! I spent 2 weeks working with the store manager to undo the error, and nothing was resolved. I ended up having to contact the person who gave us a gift :/

    They did the exact same thing to us, even after we explicitly told them that we didn't want the money refunded to the original sender's credit card. And we went through hell going back and forth with them to correct their 500 dollar mistake. Each time we'd call, the situation would end with a false promise and them saying we'd hear back within 48 hours and then we wouldn't hear anything for weeks and would have to follow up again. It got heated. Not a pleasant experience, avoid them at all costs. And their online registry isn't user friendly at all.

    Likewise, their solution to their own mistake was for me to contact the original sender and ask for the money that got refunded to the credit card. How crazy is that? It took a long time and we had to speak to a supervisor, and then a manager, and finally after months they quietly sent us a gift card without even letting us know that the situation had been resolved. For the amount of money they charge for their gifts, it's incredibly how lousy they treat their customers.

    THE WORST!!! I just called and now their customer service is only able to see which items have been fulfilled and which haven't.....so....literally what I can see on my end. Extremely unhelpful when trying to figure out which gifts need to be brought to the shower that were sent to our house (I can't even tell if the items went to guest or me).

    I cannot say this passionately enough - do not register with Anthropologie. Their customer service is a nightmare, I had TEN items purchased off my registry that either never shipped, were canceled because they were "out of stock" (when I went on the website and saw I could add the same item to my cart), or arrived broken and they said they would send a replacement (surprise! they never did). Not to mention their "registry" email is just a bot that replies little more than "sorry for the inconvenience!" Then I tried to return an item that was purchased twice off my registry in store - I told them it was a gift and asked to exchange it for something else. Instead they refunded the amount to the purchaser's card - my new mother-in-law's best friend. I begged them to reverse it (I was mortified at the thought of her knowing I returned her gift) and they insisted it was impossible. Oh, and at least half my gifts showed up without a packing slip and I had no idea who purchased them. Some I could figure out by calling, but I had 3 that they told me were purchased "in store" and it was impossible to track down the purchaser, even though it was shipped directly from anthropologie and I gave the tracking number. There is no "Thank you list" tracker on their website. DON'T DO IT!!!

    I just emailed the registry help email on the page asking who bought a specific gift and they immediately responded asking for my registry number and then responded with the name - all within 15 mins on a weekend, so I had a very different experience. But I agree, it would be so much easier if they just had it connected to your registry on the site.

    Looks to be like the serious nightmares from 2017 through 2021 got resolved in 2022? Gosh, I hope Anthropologie SERIOUSLY fixes their MAJOR ISSUES. Goodness, they charge so much and then for this?!??!!? I am a bride getting married in a month, and I am now seriously reconsidering the anthro items I have...thanks everyone for your truths! If I keep them, I will surely want to come back and write how they do....

    Absolute worst--I wish I had read this before I registered. None of our gifts had notes or order information. They claimed ALL of those people must have called Anthropologie and switched their orders after purchase so they had no way of telling us who the gifts were from. What a mess--stick with Crate and Barrel.

    Just want to add that I just chatted with someone through Anthropolgie's website and they were able to send me the list within 10 minutes and we're very helpful! It is annoying that you can't see it directly from the registry, but I didn't have issues when I asked through the chat function.
