I am so glad for this thread! It makes me feel happy to see all you ladies still moving forward like I am. This is chicken soup for the Covid brides lol. I wish everyone a smooth, loving and successful wedding and marriage. I have been a wreck now just seeing the days go by so fast. We are almost there ladies!!!

This date is amazing! I wasn't engaged early enough for it, but I am a numbers person and am super in love with the date you selected. If I had chosen it, I would have stuck with it as well, even if it meant it would be a much more intimate ceremony.

Getting married on 10/10/2020. Having church ceremony with all the bells and whistles. Having a 40 person dinner with our immediate family and bridal party after church and pictures. We still have a reception booked for next July , but who knows of that will happen .

I hear ya. I know I have a lot done and ready to go (a LOT has been DIY, including cake/cupcakes), but these last few days are going to be a MAD dash to get things done. Tomorrow - coloring my MOH hair, notorizing our marriage license, and baking one of the tiers of the wedding cake. Fri - doc appt for mom, Sat - finish baking wedding cake, color my hair. Sun - last minute details, clean apt. Mon - put synth dreads in my sis hair. Tues & Wed - pack, relax/panic. Thurs - pamper day with the girls (lunch & nails), fill & decorate cupcakes and cake. Fri - buy drinks & alcohol, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner & decorate the hall. Last minute panicking ensues. Sat - WEDDING DAY!!

Same here!! It’s like I’m trying to finish last minute touches and everything is going in slow motion. I stay up just thinking about what I still have yet to do!!

Yes. I have lists for my lists now because I am afraid of forgetting things. My projects are done at least, but now it is making sure all the boxes are packed to take to the venue (I did a box for each table) for easy set up. And then packing our bags. I have a list for my Friday night hotel stay with my sisters, mom, and daughter. The day of with veil, head band & jewelry, shoes etc. and then our bags for Saturday hotel stay.
