Anyone else having last minute crazy stress? Not about the marriage, but the day itself. The drama with my side of the family is already starting and I'm over it!

View Quoted Comment Yes girl!!! We did rehearsal today and it seemed almost a disaster. Nobody listened to when to start walking and it just seemed a mess. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!! Ours was a great day as well. Having my step-son there made it even better.

Congratulations to you all! Due to Covid we had a tent wedding with about 25-30 people in my parents backyard. It was beautiful and turned out to be just what I wanted.

Getting married in Vegas was a fun experience and I’m elated to be married. I look forward to celebrating w/ ALL my family and friends next October!

Our wedding on 10/10/2020 was everything we dreamed it would be. We are so thankful to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate with us. Pandemic did not stop the ceremony, festivities, or the support of everyone that was there. Including the amazing vendors!!!

I'm just as relieved as I am happy to FINALLY be married (after postponing three times and cancelling once due to COVID). In the end, I got the fall wedding I always wanted and never thought I would have, and while I'm a perfectionist and can think of a handful of small changes I would have made, I am overall happy with the way things turned out. I don't have pictures yet, but look forward to posting when I do. Congrats to everyone who got to have their day despite the challenges the year has brought!

Our wedding day on 10/10 was everything I dreamed of!! I am so glad we kept the date. Our guest list went from 200 to 100 (guests who didn’t feel comfortable declined) but it was the best day ever!

My now husband and I had a sunrise elopement on 10/10/2020 at Hazel Mountain Overlook in Shenandoah surrounded by 7 of our family members. We are doing our big celebration next fall 10/10/21 at our original venue. It was very windy that day and it drizzled a little bit. But it just made our special day more memorable. It was very intimate considering it was a very popular overlook and it was a Saturday.

Initially we wanted to have the ceremony on top of Stony Man overlook but we had an issue with our officiant (she wanted an extra $100 even when we already agreed to pay her $50 more from her advertised price and shoulder her entrance fee) 3 days before the wedding!!! It was very stressful. She said it's for the hike and travel when I already gave her ALL the details before booking her which was 2 months before our wedding. I have found her on Thumbtack and believed she's around the area since I searched around Luray. Good thing our wedding officiant for next year agreed to do it last minute but she said she couldn't hike that's why we decided to do it at Hazel Mountain Overlook.

Even when things didn't go as planned I still consider it a perfect day. Here are some sneaks of our lovely elopement.
