Any brides that have not canceled their fall weddings???

Blair, on June 26, 2020 at 1:44 PM Posted in Community Conversations 1 40

I feel like I'm the only one left who has not canceled or postponed by wedding. I'm still hopeful.

We are hanging in there too!
Virginia goes into phase 3 on July 1st and our wedding is scheduled for November 21st. We were already planning a smaller 60 person wedding anyway, so I’m trying to stay positive that we will have our wedding and honeymoon as planned.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. We have a guest list of 100 and our wedding is 10/10

I'm still having my fall wedding!! I'm a 10/10 bride too and will be getting married in CA in a rural county. I'm trying to stay hopeful things will be okay by then. My venue is being positive too, which helps, and also my guest count is very small, about 40-45 people, so I think we'll be okay. I do have a plan b, just in case, to just move everything in our backyard, but either way I'm getting married this year!

September 26th in Northern Minnesota. We have about 150 guests right now and still planning to continue on with the bigger wedding. I'm pretty positive only half will show. We decided to ask for RSVPs back sooner that way we would have a better idea. We're in such a small area that our venue is very lenient on everything so we're waiting till end of August or so to make the final decision.

My aunt and her fiancé are getting married 9/26 and going ahead with everything in western Pennsylvania.
I’m of the mindset that I will plan as normal until I’m told that I can’t by the state or venue.

We’re still planning for 9/12/20. Our venue let us know we can’t host more than 50 and guests must wear masks indoors (they can choose to outside during the ceremony and social hour). We’ve already been engaged 16 months, 19 months by the wedding, and we always planned a small outdoor wedding so we decided not to postpone. I hope we are all good to continue this fall.

We are still holding on, but we are in Texas, one of the worst COVID states so idek what to do at this point. 95% of family and guests are from out of state too so there's a low chance they would even get to come. Smiley sad I don't want to stop planning though just in case we do get to have it. Our guest count is only 120 anyway so maybe? I don't know. Its hard.

Still planning a 100 person wedding for 10/24 in southern California. I'm very nervous but would rather have a different wedding than I planned, in October, instead of waiting another year.

Me too. I know for sure my immediate family will show. At the end of the day it's about the marriage more so than the wedding.

10/31/20. I have not cancelled and do not plan on it. Even if god forbid no reception could be held (right now in Ohio we can). I will still be getting married. I know someone who is having a bridal shower this weekend for her Sept wedding. Sometimes these forums will get you down. Maybe take them with a grain of salt because every state is so different. Smiley smile

10/24/20 in KY and we’re still going through with it as of now. I’ve been feeling the same way like I’m the only person going through with my fall wedding. But happy I’m not alone

We are still moving forward with our Nov 7th date. Soft hold with all vendors for next year. It was already a 50 person wedding which was already half capacity of the venue and it will be indoor/outdoor optional so fingers crossed. We are heading into phase 3 in the next 2 weeks in my state everything trending down (we were hit bad intially) so hopefully no back tracking.

October 24 in NC, and I have not canceled. I’m getting married that day whether I can have 2, 25 or 150 people attend. I’ll adjust as I need to when we get closer.

August 22 in Wisconsin here. Still moving ahead with our 160 guest list. So far invites have only been out a few weeks and still a month to go before the RSVP deadline and over a third of the guests have accepted...only 4 declines so far and those are ones we already knew wouldn't be able to come before we sent invites.
