Any brides that have not canceled their fall weddings???

I feel like I'm the only one left who has not canceled or postponed by wedding. I'm still hopeful.

Keep in mind, if it gets bad in your state like it did here in NJ, they may not allow any marriage licenses to be obtained. That was the issue we ran into here back in April.

We’re still scheduled for November 1! We rescheduled from our original March date to November due to COVID and if we have to say screw it and go get married up North in the woods, we are getting married this fall!

Definitely do what works best for your specific wedding. I’m a former 10/10/20 bride postponing to October 2021. But the details of our destination wedding weekend in the midst of covid didn’t play out well right now. In addition to other factors like cases increasing, everyone needing to travel, our venue still being closed and more. Those factors are specific to our wedding. But each couple’s plans are different and I believe that some Fall weddings can possibly still occur with little to no disruption.

My wedding is Nov 14 & we are still moving ahead… our venue seats 400 & we were Only planning to invite 200. With the pandemic I expect people to self-disinvite, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up between 125-175 in terms of guests. We are at the age where we are ready to begin our family and postponing is the absolute last option. I live in Texas and I am so angry at how cases are skyrocketing because people aren’t taking this seriously. Even something as easy as wearing a mask has become a political issue, and now Texans are paying the price. Either way, even if we have to dial back the wedding to 25% capacity, we plan on having it. Hell, I think we would have it even if we could only invite 50 people. The only way that I see us postponing is if there is another complete lockdown in which gatherings are limited below 50 people. At that point, we would’ve paid so much in deposits to vendors that it would be a complete waste of money to go ahead with such a small wedding.

I'm 9/25, rescheduled from 4/25, in Southeastern PA and we're planning to go ahead with it however the plans may need to change. Waiting another year I think would be torture for me after already postponing twice. We've made peace with cutting the guest list, changing venues or whatever we need to do. We just don't want to wait any longer.

I’m here in California waiting it out a little while longer, my venue keeps trying to reassure us, but. Anxiety has gotten the better of me many days. Our wedding is scheduled for November 5 and we hope we don’t have to postpone I have been with my fiancé for 8 years well 9 by the time we get married in November and postponing just seems heart breaking. We’ve had our venue booked since June of last year

We are September 27th in Northern California and still planning on moving forward! Contacted my venue today and while they dont have any updates on guidelines, the Director of Hospitality said she was hopeful so I'm keeping positive thoughts and vibes! Planning on inviting 116 people, but wouldn't be surprised if half of that showed up. We are moving forward no matter the restrictions just praying we are allowed to.

That's good news! I'm in northern CA too! What county are you in? I'll be getting married in El Dorado county, and they have low cases. Our venue has been optimistic too, but will need to follow social distancing guidelines. I'm inviting about 40 people though, all close family and friends, so I'm staying hopeful!!

The venue is in Sonoma County, so cases aren't as high as where we live in Contra Costa County. The hospitality director didn't say anything about social distancing guidelines but I'm sure we'll have to follow what others are doing... Just hoping masks are only encouraged and not required and dancing is allowed! What makes me nervous though is our venue isn't having any weddings yet. We postponed our May 30th wedding to September 27th so praying we don't have to postpone a second time, I'd be devastated 😢

That's good! Yeah my venue said they aren't going to enforce the mask rule, just that they are encouraged. California has been hit hard in some other counties so it's making me nervous too! Hoping and praying things work out for us brides! 🤞

Yes, November 28th here. We are getting increasingly worried though because we live in Texas, one of the WORST covid areas, plus I'm an essential worker so I can't stay completely quarantined. Our guest count is 120, 75 expected, so we may still fall under the guidelines, but almost EVERYONE is from out of state, so there is a lot of uncertainty if anyone will come. I just don't know if we will be able to have it safely, but I really don't want to postpone. Smiley sad I know thats everyone's opinion, its just sad especially with all the issues we've already had with my family.

Our wedding is 10/10 in North Georgia (about an hour outside Atlanta) and we are planning as is! The venue is outdoors and holds 100, though we do expect less (potentially between 60-80 people at the most). Our venue has reassured us they're following guidelines so we should be good to go, unless anything drastic happens here before then!

We moved ours from Oct. 25 2020 to Nov. 14 2021. Too many out-of-towners and we're in Florida.

I live in hot spot in phoenix and mine is November. I am waiting till next month to decide if I need to cancel. I decided we will till get married but might not have a party/reception. It i planned as 50 but I have gotten cancellations already since this COVID started. I am debating just taking precautions and going as planned or just sending a note that only 15 immediate family will be in attendance and rest will have to watch online. I haven't figured that out yet. I have sent message to my venue but haven't heard back yet. Basically I am waiting to see how the pandemic numbers are and risk.

Hold on to your hope, have faith and believe, it will happen.
I had similar thoughts prior to my June 6th wedding. Most everyone had cancelled or postponed, with dates later than mine.

I trusted my heart and gut. It went off perfectly. I had 50 guests as originally planned, and 50 via zoom.
I'm praying for you! I'll keep checking on you, to see how it's going. I believe it will happen. You will get your day as planned. 👰💍🙏🤞❤Try not to worry.
