Any ny Residents getting Married in Florida ?

I'm a NY resident getting married in FL in April. Anyone know if we're required to file paperwork before the wedding in NY, ie- declaring a name change, etc? It's such a frivolous state to make legal changes I'm expecting many hoops. Couldn't find anything online. Thanks

    Hey there, Kaia! This is a great question, and I don’t actually know the answer. I would advise speaking with the country clerk, or courthouse to get confirmation on the correct way to approach this.
